Therefore you can't use FlatCAM 8.5 on Ubuntu 20.04 unless you are willing to compile yourself a version of PyQt 4 which is not trivial. PyQt4 is such a requirement for the FlatCAM 8.5 and the Master branch.
You have to provide those requirements and then the program will be happy and run.Īs said, PyQt4 is no longer available for later versions of Ubuntu therefore programs that need PyQt4 module will not work. Which needs to be fulfilled if the program is to run successfully. Each one of the choices mentioned above and which you can use, have requirements.
